Starting on the 19th November, the Dubai World Championship, is being played on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estate, in Dubai. http://www.dubaiworldchampionship.com/ The course is a Greg Norman design, with the last 4 holes measuring exactly one mile, 1760 yards. The top 60 players on the Race to Dubai rankings will compete for a prize pool of US$7,500,000 with a first prize of US$1,250,000 with the top 15 in the final rankings also sharing US$7,5000,000 with the first prize being US$1,500,000, and a 7 year exemption on the European Tour. The Ladies will finish their year with the inaugral LPGA Tour Championship. There will be a cut after 36 holes to the low 70 professionals and a cut after 54 holes to the low 30 professionals.
