Qualifying Points are lost and replaced by Playoff Start Points 100,000 points for 1st qualifier (Tiger Woods) through to 84,700 points for 144th qualifier (Jeff Grove) 2. Points for each event 1st 9,000 Tour Championship 10,300 2nd 5,400 6,200 3rd 3,400 3,900 4th 2,400 2,800 5th 2,000 2,300 Reducing to 70th 100 points and for 30th 395 points 3. Field is reduced each week to 120 for the Deutsche Bank Championship 70 for the BMW Championship 30 for the Final . . . Tour Championship 4. Playoffs take place over the NEXT four CONSECUTIVE weeks. 5. Prize money is US$7,000,000 per tournament, winner $1,260 6.
